Warped Universe

Warped Universe is a free-to-play cooperative player-versus-environment science-fiction hybrid looter shooter and turn-based strategy game for PC (Windows). It is structured around shared progression and seasonal objectives. Players operate in squads or individually within solar systems affected by a hostile force known as the Void, undertaking missions that involve exploration, facility defense, combat, and resource recovery. The game combines ground-based combat with space traversal and allows missions to be approached through either real-time action or turn-based tactical systems. Completing objectives and activating facilities can unlock persistent benefits and expand access to new regions for all participants during a season.
Additionally, Warped Universe integrates blockchain technology (Sui) to record and secure ownership of various optional game-related digital assets such as NFTs (e.g. cosmetic items).

Game Features

Blockchain Integration

Warped Universe features some form player-owned economy where players can effectively own and trade several game-related digital assets (e.g. cosmetic items) outside of the game, using smart contracts built on the Sui blockchain to record and secure transactions thereof.
Warped Universe is not open source. While ownership of digital assets is decentralized and secured on the blockchain, users may not be able to run the game in the event that its online service is prematurely shut down.
