Naka Boom

DOWNLOAD ⭳

Naka Boom is a free-to-play multiplayer party game for PC (Windows, Mac) and mobile (Android, iOS) by Nakamoto Games. The game is structured around short, round-based matches in which participants compete in confined arenas using bomb-placement mechanics. Drawing conceptual inspiration from earlier grid-based action titles such as Bomberman, the game emphasizes spatial awareness, timing, and tactical positioning. Core gameplay consists of placing bombs to eliminate opponents, navigating dynamically changing environments shaped by explosions, and avoiding hazards in real time until a single participant remains. Additionally, Naka Boom integrates blockchain technology (Polygon) to record and secure ownership of optional game-related digital assets earned or purchased by players such as NFTs (e.g. entry tickets) and cryptocurrencies ($NAKA).

Game Features

  • Round-Based Competitive Structure: Matches are divided into successive rounds, with overall victory awarded to the participant who first achieves a set number of round wins.
  • Real-Time Multiplayer Interaction: Gameplay occurs simultaneously among participants without turn-based mechanics, requiring continuous movement, rapid decision-making, and immediate responses to opponents’ actions.
  • Bomb Placement Mechanics: The primary interaction involves placing bombs within the arena to damage opponents and alter the environment. Effective use depends on timing, positioning, and anticipation of movement patterns.
  • Dynamic Environment Modification: Explosions modify the play area during matches, creating evolving spatial constraints and opportunities that influence navigation and strategy.
  • Survival-Oriented Objective: Each round concludes when only one participant remains active, reinforcing evasion, positioning, and strategic elimination as central gameplay elements.
  • Accessible Match Entry: The system allows immediate participation without extensive setup processes, enabling rapid engagement with minimal preparatory steps.
  • Character Differentiation and Abilities: Playable characters possess distinct timed abilities that affect gameplay, including interactions with bombs, movement through obstacles, item manipulation, and detection of other participants.
  • Performance Tracking System: Player statistics, including match history, accumulated victories, and total playtime, are recorded to support longitudinal performance assessment.
  • Continuous Play Loop: Matches are structured to encourage repeated participation through short session durations and incremental progression toward overall victory within each game.

Blockchain Integration

Naka Boom is part of the Naka web3 ecosytem, which integrates blockchain technology to feature a partially player-owned economy where players can effectively own and trade various game-related digital assets (e.g. entry tickets, items, land, factories, cryptocurrency) outside of the game, using smart contracts built on the Polygon blockchain to record and secure transactions and ownership thereof. The game integrates the $NAKA cryptocurrency as a medium of exchange and entry fee / reward token.
Naka Boom is not open source. While ownership of digital assets is decentralized and secured on the blockchain, users may not be able to run the game in the event that its online service is prematurely shut down.
