Multiplayer RPG Legends of Elumia has officially launched on the Epic Games Store for Windows, marking its expansion beyond mobile after an early April debut on Android that surpassed 50,000 downloads on the Google Play Store.

The PC release represents a notable step for developer Triumph Games, positioning Elumia as a cross-platform title aiming to grow its player base across both desktop and mobile ecosystems. Framed by the studio as “a new gate” opening, the launch signals a broader rollout phase, with increased player concurrency and ongoing content scaling expected as more users enter the game’s persistent world.
While no major feature changes were announced alongside the Epic Games release, the move to PC introduces improved accessibility for traditional MMORPG audiences, particularly those favoring keyboard-and-mouse gameplay and longer session formats.
What Legends of Elumia Is About
At its core, Legends of Elumia is a free-to-play MMORPG set in a high-fantasy universe. Players explore a shared world filled with dungeons, quests, and dynamic encounters, progressing their characters through combat and resource acquisition.
Key systems include:
- Exploration-driven gameplay, with hidden areas and instanced dungeons scattered across the map
- Combat systems combining PvE encounters with real-time PvP battles
- Quest-based progression, supporting character development and item acquisition
- Guild structures, enabling cooperative play and long-term group progression
- Loot and crafting loops, rewarding players with materials and equipment upgrades
- Competitive layers, such as leaderboards tied to performance-based rewards
- Land ownership mechanics, introducing a strategic dimension tied to territory control and progression
The design leans on familiar MMORPG conventions, with an emphasis on social systems and persistent-world interaction rather than purely session-based gameplay.
Web3 and Blockchain Components
A defining aspect of Legends of Elumia is its integration of blockchain infrastructure via the Solana network. These systems are positioned as optional layers that complement, rather than replace, the core gameplay loop.
The game incorporates:
- Tokenized assets (NFTs): Characters, weapons, and pets can exist as blockchain-backed digital assets, allowing ownership outside the game environment
- Player-driven economy: Assets may be traded externally using blockchain marketplaces, supported by smart contracts
- Dual-token system:
- $ELU: Intended as a governance and DeFi-oriented token
- EKS: Designed as a premium in-game currency for transactions and upgrades
- Planned DAO elements: Future governance features aim to give players some influence over ecosystem decisions
However, as with many online titles incorporating blockchain, ownership of in-game assets does not equate to ownership of the game service itself. If servers were to shut down, access to gameplay functionality could be lost despite asset ownership remaining on-chain.
