The Six Dragons (TSD) is a free-to-play open-world fantasy role-playing game (RPG) for PC (Windows) by BlockPegnio Studio. Inspired by traditional RPG design, the game combines exploration, character customization, combat, and crafting in an expansive environment of 256 square kilometers. Players are free to traverse a dynamic world, collect resources, engage in battles, and craft or enhance equipment while progressing through evolving game modes, including an Open World and a forthcoming Story Mode. Additionally, The Six Dragons integrates blockchain technology (Ethereum, Ejin, Immutable) to record and secure ownership of optional game-related digital assets created, earned or purchased by players such as NFTs (e.g. armor, weapons, mounts, recipes).
Game Features
- Single-Player & MMO: Players can play solo and benefit from MMO interactions such as marketplace trading.
- Open World Exploration: Features a 256km² environment with diverse biomes such as forests, mountains, volcanoes, lakes, and rivers, enriched with dungeons, quests, fast travel points, and dynamic seasonal weather.
- Class Customization: Players create hybrid classes by combining abilities from three archetypes—Wizard, Warrior, and Cleric—each offering 33 unique abilities and distinct playstyles.
- Weapon Variety: Offers 26 types each of swords, staffs, and maces, enabling players to align weapon choices with their preferred combat style, whether physical, magical, or hybrid.
- Crafting System: Includes over 300 crafting recipes for weapons, armor, and jewelry. Resource gathering and combat victories yield materials required for item production.
- Enchanting Mechanics: Allows crafted items to be enhanced up to +15 levels using enchanting scrolls, some of which have failure risks that can result in item loss.
- Progressive Combat: Players engage in battles against monsters and bosses across various zones, with level-appropriate arenas and dungeons offering strategic depth and reward scaling.
- AI Companion Combat: Companion units can be outfitted and used in asynchronous battles against other players’ AI-controlled companions, functioning autonomously during offline periods.
Blockchain Integration
The Six Dragons features a partially player-owned economy where players can effectively own and trade various game-related digital assets (e.g. armor, weapons, mounts, recipes) outside of the game, using smart contracts built on blockchains including Ethereum and Enjin to record and secure transactions and ownership thereof.
The Six Dragons is not open source. While ownership of digital assets is decentralized and secured on the blockchain, users may not be able to run the game in the event that its online service is prematurely shut down.
Ownable (NFTs)
The Six Dragons features various NFTs, some of which can be created by players in-game in real-time by owning their blockchain recipes (e.g. weapons, armor pieces and jewellery) and the necessary materials. The list provided below is non-exhaustive.
