Crystalfall is a free-to-play hack-and-slash action RPG developed for PC by Sweden-based studio CRG AB. Set in a post-apocalyptic steampunk world shaped by the impact of a mysterious asteroid, the game combines randomized dungeons, extensive theorycrafting, and loot-driven progression. Players choose from hybrid animal heroes and explore a world filled with mutated creatures and steampunk adversaries. Additionally, Crystalfall integrates optional blockchain technology (Beam) to record and secure ownership of game-related NFT assets (e.g. weapons).

Blockchain Integration
Crystalfall aims to feature a partially player-owned economy where players can effectively own and trade various optional game-related digital assets (e.g. weapons) outside of the game, using smart contracts built on the Beam blockchain to record and secure transactions thereof. The game also plans to have its own cryptocurrency.
Crystalfall is not open source. While ownership of digital assets is decentralized and secured on the blockchain, users may not be able to run the game in the event that its online service is prematurely shut down.
